We have around 7 miles of well-maintained trails allowing access to an incredibly diverse variety of plants. Our foraging classes, hosted by Alisha, have proved very popular, and from spring through fall there is plenty to be found - we can't guarantee a 10lb Hen of the Woods every time though!!
After a brief welcome and introduction, you’ll join a small group (max 12) for a 1 ½ -2 hour walk around the land, learning to identify and collect edible wild plants and hearing how they can be used in food.
After the walk there will be light refreshments made with foraged ingredients back at the farm, and the opportunity to discuss what you’ve seen. Overall the class lasts around 3 hours and costs $60pp.
First dates for 2025 are below, we'll be publishing more dates soon:

Bread baking basics: sourdough
Learn to bake a rustic sourdough loaf from scratch!
You’ll leave the class with your own loaf, a container of the sourdough starter we used in class so you can practice at home, and a jar of homemade jam to pair it with!
During the course of the afternoon you'll get a chance to look around the farm, meet the ducks, and enjoy homemade refreshments.
Max 4 participants, $80pp
