We have around 7 miles of well-maintained trails allowing access to an incredibly diverse variety of plants. Our foraging classes, hosted by Alisha, have proved very popular, and from spring through fall there is plenty to be found - we can't guarantee a 10lb Hen of the Woods every time though!!
Sept 21 10am - 2pm Foraging & preserving class
Spend the morning learning about foraged foods such as wild apples, autumn olives and grapes. We will then have a jam/jelly making class with one or more of these fruits, plus a light lunch tasting wild foods and flavors. You’ll take home a jar of jam, recipes and fantastic memories! Cost $85 per person
October 4th 10am – 1pm Foraging walk
After a brief welcome and introduction, you’ll join a small group (max 8)for a 1½ -2 hour walk around the land, learning to identify and collect edible wild plants and hearing how they can be used in food. After the walk there will be light snacks and refreshments made with foraged ingredients back at the farm. Cost $60 per person.
